Montessori Homeschool?

OK. So my son was in Montessori preschool for two years, and I absolutely loved the sensorial approach! Would it be possible to continue a Montessori education at home? Many blogs said yes! So here we go, collecting shelves and manipulatives and stuff… This is our first shelf layout:

 

We already had the sandpaper letters, then added some counters and toy animals to pair up and all. We also have a mat, which we put right in place, and a small bookshelf for age-appropriate books.

Of course, it’s still several months before the next school year starts, but we’re just excited!
