One of the things I liked about an early-childhood Montessori education was its emphasis on multisensorial learning. So I was greatly pleased when I came to this lesson in Heart of Dakota Little Hearts for His Glory: in the story of Esau trading his birthright for a bowl of stew, the related activity was to set out several cotton balls of spices and have the child match them up to their correct bottles!
My son loved the game, and he did great at matching all five bottles! 🙂
